Ah, sejarah. Kita semua membesar di sekolah dengan belajar sejarah. Sejarah macam Empayar Kesultanan Melayu Melaka yang dulunya maha hebat meliputi Sumatera, Semenanjung hinggalah ke pulau Borneo. Satu masa dululah.
Mana Melaka sekarang? Masih ada, besar sikit dari Perlis je. Kalau dulu Empayar Melaka mendapat penghormatan dari China melalui lawatan Laksamana Cheng Ho, Melaka sekarang beri penghormatan anugerah gelaran Datuk kepada pelakon Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan. Siap jemput datang Melaka, dengan tiket kapal terbang dan penginapan berbayar.

Aku malas nak cerita pasal sejarah. Aku ungkit sikit je sebab semalam budak-budak Liverpool sebelum bermulanya perlawanan Chelsea-Liverpool sibuk bercakap pasal sejarah. Lepas habis perlawanan senyap pula semua pakar sejarah tadi. Dah jadi sejarah kot?
Eh, Carra tengok je?
Benteng Liverpool terlalu fokus terhadap Didier ‘The Drog’ Drogba malam tadi. Tak salah dari segi strategi, tapi Rafa Benitez lupa agaknya Chelsea bukan macam Liverpool, semua nak harap kat Fernando Torres seorang. Kalau Drogba dikekang, Nicolas Anelka ada untuk menyumbat bola masuk ke dalam gol. Tak cukup dengan Anelka, Florent Malouda ada.
Dua biji lepas kepala botak Pepe Reina. Semua dua biji gol itu diilhamkan oleh The Drog sendiri. Bak kata cikgu bolasepak sekolah rendah aku dulu, agak-agak mike tak boleh skor,mike tolong orang lain skor, jangan nak nyaden je.
Johnson mengenang zaman mudanya di Stamford Bridge dulu
Mana Torres semalam? Pergi toreh getah. Berdepan dengan Ricardo Carvalho serta John Terry, keupayaan sebenar Torres telah terukur. Kalau setakat Hull City tempoh hari, suami Rita Rudaini pun boleh hat trick.
Di barisan tengah, gandingan jentera tengah The Reds yang dipelopori oleh Steven Gerrard langsung tidak menjadi. Aku tak nafikan Gerrard bermain cemerlang malam tadi, tapi Frank Lampard, Michael Essien dan Michael Ballack menjalankan tugas mereka dengan penuh dedikasi untuk menafikan hantaran-hantaran berbahaya dari tonggak The Reds itu.
Macam aku selalu cakap, Liverpool buntu bila Torres dan Gerrard dipaksa menganyam ketupat di tengah padang. Tu belum kena suruh anyam ketupat palas.
Tekaan aku untuk 2 gol berbalas bunga telur orang kahwin langsung tidak merosot. Senarai penjaring saja yang merosot.

Chelsea ace Didier Drogba says he has no plans for retirement.
Indeed, as a latecomer to top-level football he wants to prolong his career for many more seasons and still has the hunger for success despite winning many trophies in his five years at Chelsea.
He said: "I don't set limits for myself. I don't know if I was lucky but I started at the highest level very late, at 25 years old. I feel fresh, I only need to run, score goals to feel pleasure.
"I don't know when I will quit or set limits. Perhaps the day I feel tired.
"I didn't have a career path like Thierry Henry or Nico Anelka. It had its advantages and its inconveniences but, well, I'm happy. If I'd gone to a youth development centre I could have been better technically. I think it's a plus to go to a development centre for your players.
"I worked very hard of course afterwards. But the older you are the more difficult it can be to learn to do certain things."
